Travis Barker Heads To Studio After Hospitilization

Just days after returning from the hospital, Travis Barker is now back in the music studio. The Blink-182 drummer was spotted today (July 5) heading into a music studio in Calabasas, CA. In photos taken by TMZ, Barker looks happy and healthy before entering and even greeted the studio operator with a fist bump. Other musicians arrived shortly after and were in the studio for hours. No word on the artists who were with Barker at the time.
Travis Barker’s Health Scare
Barker was rushed to the hospital last week after having pancreatitis. The health scare came after he had an endoscopy procedure earlier that day, which inflamed his pancreas. Friends, family and fans were all sending their prayers and wishing him a speedy recovery. His wife Kourtney Kardashian was by his side throughout the procedure.

On Saturday, Barker went on Twitter to speak about the incident. “During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube,” he wrote. “This resulted in severe life-threatening pancreatitis.”

This is the second outing for Barker since his hospitalization. On July 4, Barker and Kardashian were seen together driving in an orange vintage truck. Kardashian posted a video of her children Reign and Penelope sitting in the back of the car listening to Bruno Mars’ “Grenade.”
New Music From Travis Barker?
With these new pictures showing Travis being in the studio, there is no plan to release new music right now. Barker last collaborated with 24kGoldn for his song “In My Head.” In March, he joined forces with Avril Lavigne to perform her song “Bite Me” for America’s Got Talent. Nitro Circus was also a part of the finale performance.

It is great to see Barker in full recovery and living happily and healthy with his new wife and step-children.
