Murda Beatz Links Up With Pharrell, Quavo, J. Balvin, & Anitta For No Más”

Murda Beatz has used his top-tier production skills to construct a banger prone to “wake the sun up.” Utilizing musical elements from Colombia, Brazil, America, and Canada, Murda’s beat merges a warm signature trap vibe with island-inspired sound loops. Pharell also assists Beatz with the sonic portion of this summer hit!

The song “NO MAS” features Quavo, J Balvin, and Anitta.
Beatz said in a press release: “It’s a record I’m excited about, bringing four different worlds together; America, Colombia, Brazil, and Canada. And, of course, having the chance to work alongside a legendary producer like Pharrell is incredible. It’s just the perfect record for the summer.”
J Balvin and Anitta’s verse sees them reveling in their romance language. Quavo and Anitta also take time to drop braggadocious lyrics. The Migos rapper details his charm and “lighting the block up with this new choppеr” if he’s threatened.
“Check my status, not into braggin’, but you steppin’ out with a king (King),” he raps.” Migo don’t know Spanish, but my migo got them things (Migo)Now my diamonds Barry White, watch it sing (Sing).”
Anitta sings, “I’m the baddest, I’m gonna have it, I’m gonna have it all/I want this one, this one, that one, in a week or so/See, I’m a savage, you cannot have it, I’m gonna hear you go.”
Murda Beatz also dropped a visual for “No Mas.” In the video, the musicians are living it up on the beach and driving in luxurious cars.
“No Mas” is on the heels of his song, “One Shot,” which features Blxst and Wale. As reported by HipHopDX, the renowned producer spoke about the meaning of his moniker.
“There have been numerous times in my career when people have said that I should change my name. I’ve been told my name would hold me back, and I feel like it has in many ways. I think I’m bringing a positive meaning to a negative word, but inevitably, news outlets can’t talk about my name.”
He continued, “I can be court-side at a basketball game, and they can’t put my name on the Jumbotron. Certain things hurt; people often wanted me to go by my government name, to change my name to Shane Lindstrom. But I built name from the ground up.”
