Kansas City Cheifs Celebrate Their Super Bowl Win

The Kansas City Chiefs are the kings of the football world again! Thousands of fans attended the parade to celebrate the 2022–23 champions. They weren’t going to let the 24-degree weather put a damper on their spirits. Fans were ready for the parade as many hit the streets of Kansas City at 6 a.m. even though the festivities began at noon. People didn’t even know where to park their cars, so they started to park on the side of highways and exit ramps. To add on to the chaos, one man came to the parade on his horse!

Parade Highlights
One of the highlights of the parade was NFL regular season MVP and Super Bowl MVP Quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his tight end Travis Kelce chugging beers. Mahomes also chugged a beer by himself at one point during the festivities. He was atop of the championship bus and almost fell over after downing a Coors Light. Good thing, Chiefs Quarterback coach Matt Nagy was there to hold him up. Kelce matched his quarterback by downing a nip of Fireball that was thrown to him from a fan. Both stars also brought some accessories to the party.

Mahomes wore his custom WWE Championship belt while Kelce rocked a Bud Light chain. The MVP made a speech, in which he targeted the naysayers.
“The AFC West said we were rebuilding. I’m going to be honest with you: I don’t know what rebuilding means. In our rebuilding year, we’re world champs!”

O-Line Shirts
The Offensive Line for the Kansas City Chiefs had their own fun during the parade. After not allowing any sacks to their quarterback, the guys made T-shirts in honor of their performance. The shirts read “0 SACKS” in green letters. The Philadelphia Eagles’ defense was one of the top defenses in the league this year. Their Defensive Line achieved 70 sacks this season, leading the NFL.
